In aquaculture, it is very important to manage the hardness of water in bore-well based ponds.

Iron bearing pyrites cannot be reduced by the addition of only chemical additives.

Use of suitable microbes is the practical solution. Unique microbes that release enzymes to break Ferrous Sulfide to Ferrous Oxide which is less harmful to the pond environment.

By using FerBac, Iron bearing waters are often defferized by oxidizing the ferrous iron with dissolved oxygen and then remove the resulting ferric oxide flock by bacterial degradation.

FerBac is a unique formulation contains Thiobacillus ferrooxidans, Thiobacillus novellus, Rhodopseudomonas palustris, and Rhodobacter sp. fortified with activators along with oxygen releasing agents.

Iron-reducing bacteria (IRB) present in FerBac are a significant biological component in the process of bacterial oxidation degradation of iron.

Composition
Each Kg contains Pack I (700 gms) and Pack II (300 gms).

Pack I: Consortium of probiotics - Thiobacillus ferrooxidans, Thiobacillus novellus, Rhodopseudomonas palustris, and Rhodobacter sp. fortified with Ametox, Dodecyl Sodium Sulphate, Editic Acid and Hydrated Sodium Allumino Silicate (HSAS).

Pack II: Active ingredients involved in Advanced Oxidation Process.

Usage Recommendations:
Both Pack I and Pack II need to be mixed before use.

Aquaculture Ponds: 1 kg / Acre (1 kg = Pack I = 700 gms and Pack II = 300 gms

Application Procedure:
Mix required quantity of both Pack I and Pack II in about 25 liters of clean water for each acre, allow 10 minutes to get the product activated and then spray uniformly throughout the pond.

Through Feed: 5 - 10 gm / Kg feed or as advised by Aquaculture Consultant

Presentation: 1.0 Kg.
