Infectious diseases constitute the main barrier to the development and continuation of aquaculture in terms of quality, quantity, regularity and continuity.
For eg. Vibriosis and white spot syndrome has been implicated as a major mortality factor in shrimp culture. The total sterility of rearing water during the culture period by pre-treatment followed by post-treatment technologies are urgently required for controlling and preventing such outbreaks especially due to opportunistic and secondary pathogenic invaders. Surface Application:
ViraNil is used to clean and disinfect with an application rate of 300 ml per sq.mts of 1% solution (to estimate total area including walls and ceilings multiply floor area by 2.5).
Usage Instructions:
- Prawn/Shrimp Pond: ViraNil 500 gm. to 2 kg./ha.
- Fish Pond: ViraNil 500 gm. to 2 kg/ha.
- For prevention of Diseases:
Apply ViraNil once every fortnight according to water quality. - For treating Diseases:
Apply ViraNil once every 3-5 days or as advised by Aquaculture Consultant.
Application Procedure
Dissolve required quantity of ViraNil in water outside the pond in a clean container and then spray uniformly throughout the pond.
Composition:
A balanced, stabilised blend of peroxygen compounds, surfactant, organic acids and an inorganic buffer system.
Presentation: 500 gm, 1.0 kg and 2.5 kg
Stability & Storage: Stable if kept in a dry, cool, well ventilated area. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat.
