Broken eggs/Shell Problems

A broken egg causes heavy loss. Factors affecting egg shell quality involves calcium, phosphorus and vitamin-D3 deficiency, feeding time, calcium particle size, excess calcium, medullary bones, early laying stage, trace minerals and phytasedeficiency, summer, age, disease - IB, RD, EDS, CRD, worm load, toxins and poor management.

This problem is controlled by identification of appropriate cause. Supplementation of calcium, phosphorus, Vtamin-D₃ and treatment for diseases is helpful to control this problem.
