High incidence of post-moult deaths

In shrimp after moulting the new shell is still soft which causes shrimp to become vulnerable and they may subsequently be eaten by their predators. In addition due to lack proper nutrition and dissolved oxygen also shrimp are prone to face the problem of post-moult death. Proper management with minerals and dissolved oxygen could be control the occurrence of post-moult deaths in shrimp aquaculture ponds.
