Duxprim is a combination of Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim which have exhibited a high level of synergism in fighting bacterial diseases as a bactericidal. Distinct broad spectrum activity is achieved because of the combination resulting in effective treatment of many Livestock and Poultry diseases.

Trimethoprim I.P. : 2.0% W/W
Sulphamethoxazole I.P. :10.0% W/W
Indication
Duxprim is effective against most of the gram positive and gram negative bacterial infections of Poultry and Livestock.
Poultry
Infectious coryza, enteritis, bacillary white diarrhoea, blue comb, coli septicemia, coccidiosis with mixed bacterial infections, early chick mortality, secondary bacterial infections associated with viral infections.
Cattle, Horses and Pigs
Respiratory infections, Haemorrhagic septicemia, streptococcal and staphylococcal infections.
Sheep and Goats
Respiratory infections, enteritis, pneumonia in lambs, secondary bacterial infections in viral infections.
