ImmunoMax-FS is a potentiated combination of synergetic active ingredients of 1-3 Beta glucan, MOS and other natural extractives and immune system boosters which have proven to be strong non-specific immune system enhancers, protecting animal species from pathogenic bacterial, fungal, and viral infections.

The other potentiating natural extractives and immune system boosters available in ImmunoMax-FS will also assist in eliciting an immune response and therefore acting in conjunction with highly purified form of 1-3 Beta Glucan which will result in stronger, healthier animals.

ImmunoMax-FS has significant impact on survival and growth of confined shrimp and fish growing operations when challenged by pathogenic viruses and bacteria.

Mode of action:
There are highly specialized receptors on the surface of certain of the larger immune system cells called macrophages that can be activated by beta 1-3-D-glucan. Since the macrophage is evidently unable to distinguish the 1-3 Beta Glucan from a primary pathogen at specific receptor sites, it triggers and activates a "cascade" of immune events in much the same manner as if an actual pathogenic challenge existed. The largest phagocytes in the immune system, macrophages., play a fundamental and very important role in the initiation and continuity of the immune response.

ImmunoMax-FS Catalyzes Metabolic Changes in the Macrophage Macrophage activation produces a whole sequence of metabolic changes. These metabolic changes result in the production of a series of cytokines which act as internal regulators of the immune system. Activation can be initiated by a variety of different stimuli, such as endotoxin, bacteria, fungus, viruses or chemicals. However, ImmunoMax-FS is the only such activator which has been shown not only to be completely safe but also has been shown to be one of the most potent stimulatory agents of the immune response.

ImmunoMax-FS has Adjuvant Abilities
Immunomax-FS has a broad anti-infective spectrum against different bacterial organisms, viral pathogens and fungus because of its adjuvant ability.

Clinical Evidence in Aquaculture Animals
Studies performed with 1-3 Beta Glucan have shown that it successfully protects shrimp against vibriosis. Other studies are showing protection against, yersiniosis and furunculosis in shrimp when it is added to the feed.

Prawn and Shrimp: 2.5 to 5.0 gm per kg of feed
Fish : 0.5 to 1.0 gm per kg of feed
