Iodophores are stabilised forms of iodine and are used worldwide as disinfectants for aquaculture practices. They also are used to disinfect fish eggs, shrimp eggs and nauplei and are effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi and viruses. It is important that the eggs are not penetrated by the disinfectant. An example of this class is SparkDin.

Dosage and Usage:

Dilute the required quantity in 100 litres of water and apply throughout the pond.

Use 100 ml to 250 ml per Acre/metre water depth.
For Protozoan Infections:
Use 100 ml to 250 ml per acre/foot water depth
