Broad-spectrum anthelmintic drench against roundworm, liver fluke and mixed worm infestations in sheep, cattle and buffaloes.
Composition:
Rafoxanide I.P (Vet) : 3% w/v
Levamisole Hcl. I.P : 3% w/v
- Rafoxanide in VermaRid Forte is effective against adult and young flukes.
- It is also active against bloodsucking nematodes and tissue-invading fly maggots.
- Levamisole in VermaRid Forte is a highly acceptable antinematodal drug
- Broad range of activity in cattle, buffaloes and sheep and is effective against nematodes both in lungs and of GI tract.
- VermaRid Forte is a broad-spectrum dewormer advocated for treatment and control of mixed worm infestations of mature and immature blood sucking Nematodes, Adult and young Liver Flukes and Amphistomes.
Administration and Dosage:
- Administered as undiluted drench at the rate of 1 ml/4 kg b.wt. Orally.
- Further dosing may be necessary at 4 and 6 weeks intervals, if fluke infestation is high.
- Should not be mixed with other products or diluted.
Precaution and Contraindications while using VermaRid Forte:
- Not to be administered to cows producing milk for human consumption.
- Milk from treated animals is not recommended for human consumption for 7 days in sheep and goats and 10 days in cows.
- Animal should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 28 days of the last treatment.
- Avoid contact with eyes. Wash with copious amounts of water if comes into contact.
